The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has introduced the Commonwealth Scholarships for master’s and PhD programs for the year 2023.
These scholarships are offered through the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC), which administers the UK government’s Commonwealth scholarship scheme aimed at international development goals. To date, the CSC has supported over 30,000 individuals in pursuing education in the UK, helping them acquire skills, knowledge, and networks to address global development challenges.
Students from Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) are eligible to apply for these scholarships, with the application deadline set for October 17, 2023. The scholarships cover various categories, including 26 nominations for master’s programs, 30 for PhD programs, and 10 for teaching faculty pursuing a PhD.
This initiative provides students from these regions with valuable opportunities to further their education and contribute to addressing global development challenges.
