  • Latifabad was the worst-hit area, with 280mm of rainfall, while City Taluka recorded 268mm, Qasimabad 185mm, and Rural Taluka 158mm. The downpour caused severe inundation across Latifabad.

Emergency conditions have been declared in Lassi Goth, Sukhia Goth, and nearby localities, where floodwaters entered houses. Police confirmed that the force of water caused the collapse of walls in two factories.

In a tragic incident, a rickshaw and a car were swept away in the Thado stream. Residents reported that a woman was washed away, while another woman and the driver remained trapped in the submerged vehicle.

Police further stated that rising water levels in the Konkar stream are hampering rescue efforts, with teams still struggling to recover the trapped vehicles.
