Mobile internet services suspended across Balochistan amid security concerns.

Mobile internet services have been suspended across Balochistan, including Quetta, following rising security threats, provincial officials confirmed.

The disruption, which began recently, is expected to continue until at least August 15, although no official timeline for restoration has been provided.

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) reported that mobile internet has been indefinitely suspended in several districts, such as Kohlu, Chaman, Qila Abdullah, Pishin, Loralai, Ziarat, Qila Saifullah, Nushki, and Harnai.

Authorities said the decision was made as a precautionary measure in response to possible security risks.

The move, however, has caused widespread inconvenience. Students are struggling to attend online classes, while freelancers and those running online businesses face major disruptions due to the lack of internet access.
