TikTok removes nearly 25 million videos in Pakistan for violating community guidelines in Q1 2025.

TikTok removed more than 24.95 million videos in Pakistan during the first quarter of 2025 for violating its Community Guidelines, according to the platform’s Q1 2025 Community Guidelines Enforcement Report.

The report revealed that 99.4% of the flagged videos from Pakistan were taken down proactively, with 95.8% removed within 24 hours of being posted—highlighting TikTok’s strong content moderation efforts to ensure a safer digital environment for users in the country.

On a global scale, TikTok removed approximately 211 million videos between January and March 2025, representing 0.9% of all content uploaded during that period. Of these, 184 million were identified and removed by automated systems, while 7.5 million were later restored following human review.

The report broke down the nature of the removed content:

  • 45.5% was flagged as misinformation
  • 30.1% featured sensitive or mature themes
  • 15.6% violated privacy and security policies
  • 13.8% included edited or AI-generated media
  • 11.5% breached safety and civility standards
