Pakistan’s role growing in global affairs, says Khawaja Asif.

Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Monday said that Pakistan has emerged as an active and influential player in the evolving geopolitical landscape.

He stated that the country’s diplomatic ties have grown stronger with neighboring nations, friendly states, and the wider international community. Pakistan’s position on the global stage is increasingly recognized at major international forums, he added.

Highlighting a shift in bilateral ties, the minister said the United States is now supporting Pakistan at key global economic platforms, indicating a broadening of relations beyond traditional military cooperation.

Khawaja Asif also issued a stern warning to India, stating that any attempt to block Pakistan’s water would be considered an act of war. He further accused India of sponsoring terrorism in Balochistan, claiming that Pakistan holds solid evidence and that several countries have acknowledged Pakistan’s position on the issue.
