Special airport and airline guidelines introduced for pink eye infection.

In response to an increase in cases of pink eye infection, also known as conjunctivitis, Sindh health authorities have issued special guidelines to airports and airlines, as reported by ARY News on Friday.

Dr. Murtaza Shah, the Director of Provincial Border Health Services (BHS), issued a statement stating that these guidelines have been disseminated to both medical personnel and airlines in light of the growing instances of pink eye infections.

Airlines have been instructed to advise passengers who show symptoms of pink eye to contact the health department’s medical staff at the airports for further assistance.

Dr. Shah emphasized that no travel bans have been imposed as a result of this situation, providing reassurance to the public.
