Speaking at the meeting, Nawaz Sharif said it was a matter of national pride that, during a critical moment for Pakistan’s security, Parliament transcended political divisions and spoke in complete unison. For the sake of national security, it is heartening to see that all parties stood together, setting aside their differences. The former prime minister congratulated the brave armed forces of Pakistan, acknowledging their professionalism, courage, and unshakable resolve in defending the homeland. With God’s grace, we passed this test with flying colors. Our armed forces have once again proven that Pakistan’s defense is in capable hands, said Nawaz Sharif, while also extending his appreciation to the Prime Minister, Army Chief, Air Chief, and all personnel involved in the recent defensive operations.
