Tragedy struck in Bahawalnagar on Tuesday as a youth lost his life and another sustained critical injuries in a motorcycle accident, as reported by Dunya News.
The incident took place on Arifwala Road, where a speeding truck collided with a motorcycle. The impact proved fatal, instantly claiming the life of one young individual and leaving the other severely injured.
Upon receiving the distress call, police and rescue teams rushed to the scene. The deceased and the injured were promptly transported to the District Hospital for medical attention.
Authorities revealed that the truck driver fled the scene following the accident, prompting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
