A tragic incident occurred in Karachi on Sunday night, where a lift malfunctioned and fell in a factory near Shafeeq More in the New Karachi area, resulting in one fatality, Dunya News reported.
The lift’s cable reportedly broke due to overloading, causing it to plummet. As a result, a 35-year-old man named Younuf, a resident of Mirpur, lost his life.
Police and rescue teams swiftly arrived at the scene and transported the deceased to the hospital. Further investigations are underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.
