Shah Rukh Khan and family to temporarily move out of mannat for renovation.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his family are set to vacate their iconic home, Mannat, as the bungalow undergoes a major renovation starting in May 2025.

During this period, the family will reside in a luxury apartment in Pali Hill, just 3 km away from Mannat. Their temporary residence is in the Puja Casa building, owned by filmmaker Vashu Bhagnani and his family. The new space, though luxurious, is significantly smaller than Mannat, covering 10,500 sq. ft. compared to the sprawling 27,000 sq. ft. bungalow. The rental agreement for the apartment was registered on February 14, 2025, with the family expected to stay for at least two years.

Pali Hill, known for housing Bollywood elites like Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt, and Aamir Khan, will now welcome SRK as a neighbor for the first time in over two decades. Interestingly, the Puja Casa apartments overlook the former bungalow of legendary actor Dilip Kumar.

The renovation of Mannat is set to enhance its grandeur further. Since it is a Grade-III heritage site, special permissions were required for modifications. SRK’s wife, Gauri Khan, applied for approvals in November 2024 to expand the Mannat Annexe by adding two more floors.

Amidst the move, SRK is also gearing up for his next big film, King, slated for release in 2026.
