The Pakistan Cricket Board verbally cautioned the promising young fast bowler, Shahnawaz Dahani, due to his tweet expressing disappointment after being left out of the one-day series against Afghanistan and the Asia Cup.
In the tweet, Dahani, with a touch of sarcasm, highlighted that both the chief selector, Inzamam ul Haq, and the media seemed unaware of his Pakistani bowler status. He pointed out that his absence wasn’t even questioned during the press conference.
Following the tweet, Dahani received a call from the PCB higher-ups, who reprimanded him for making such controversial remarks publicly.
After the notice, Dahani deleted his tweet.
