Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman met with renowned religious scholar Dr Zakir Naik during his visit to Lahore.
Dr Zakir Naik was unable to visit Mansoorah last October due to security concerns. However, he arrived at Lahore Airport on Tuesday, where he was warmly welcomed by the JI Emir. Hafiz Naeemur Rehman briefed the scholar on JI’s contributions, highlighting its efforts in religious and educational activities.
The JI Emir emphasized the party’s commitment to Islamic unity, mutual respect for all beliefs, and its vision of transforming Pakistan into a true welfare state.
Expressing his admiration, Dr Zakir Naik stated that visiting JI’s headquarters had been a long-cherished dream. He also commended JI’s dedication to fostering positive societal change.
