Bad bunny announces new album “debí tirar más fotos” set for January 5 release.

Bad Bunny has greeted fans with festive news this holiday season, announcing the release of his highly anticipated sixth studio album, “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” (“I Should Have Taken More Photos”), slated for January 5. This album continues his tradition of dropping new music on unexpected dates, following the pattern of his past releases.

His debut album, “X 100PRE” (2018), was released around Christmas, while “El Último Tour del Mundo” (2020) arrived near Thanksgiving. This time, the January release will fall just before Día de Reyes (Three Kings Day) and on a Sunday, breaking from the usual Friday release schedule in the music industry.

The Puerto Rican star shared the exciting news via Instagram in a short video featuring filmmaker Jacobo Morales. Additionally, Bad Bunny unveiled a new single titled “PIToRRO DE COCO.” A day earlier, he teased a tracklist of 17 songs on social media, with each titled “BOMBA,” which may nod to the iconic Puerto Rican musical and dance style.

“Debí Tirar Más Fotos” follows 2023’s “Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana” (“Nobody Knows What Will Happen Tomorrow”), an album that received mixed reviews. While that record limited its reggaeton offerings, it returned to the Latin trap sound seen in “X 100PRE,” notably in tracks like “MONACO” and “GRACIAS POR NADA.” Fans are eager to see how this new album evolves his sound and artistic direction.
