13 terrorists neutralized in KP operations; major owais martyred in line of duty.

Security forces successfully neutralized 13 terrorists during three intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The operations were carried out on December 25 and 26 in the Janikhel area of Bannu district, North Waziristan, and South Waziristan. ISPR reported that the operations targeted terrorists based on actionable intelligence.

In Janikhel, two terrorists were killed following an intense exchange of gunfire. The second operation in North Waziristan resulted in the elimination of five terrorists, with eight others injured. Meanwhile, six terrorists were killed, and eight others sustained injuries during the third operation in South Waziristan.

Tragically, Major Mohammad Owais embraced martyrdom while valiantly fighting the terrorists.

A clearance operation is ongoing to root out any remaining threats in the region. ISPR emphasized that Pakistan’s security forces remain steadfast in their mission to eradicate terrorism, with the sacrifices of its brave personnel serving as a beacon of resolve and determination.
