On Thursday, a mild earthquake shook several cities across Punjab, including Lahore, Jhelum, Dina, Gujrat, Nankana Sahib, Phalia, Kasur, Phulnagar, Sohawa, Sarai Alamgir, and Kala Bagh. The tremors triggered panic and fear among the residents, prompting many to rush out of their homes and buildings while reciting the Kalima.
According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake measured 5.1 on the Richter scale, with its epicenter located near Khariyan and a depth of 15 kilometers.
