The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast predominantly cold and dry weather for most parts of the country over the next 24 hours. Isolated patches of smog and fog are expected during the morning and night in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh.
The synoptic situation indicates that continental air continues to dominate across much of the country.
In the past 24 hours, most regions experienced dry weather, while hilly areas remained cold. Smoggy and foggy conditions were observed in isolated plain areas of Punjab.
Leh recorded the lowest temperature in the country on Friday, with the mercury dropping to -7°C.
