Fuel supply disrupted in Lahore due to road blocks, 30% of stations run dry.

Petroleum supply in Lahore has been severely disrupted due to roadblocks, causing 30 percent of fuel stations to run dry, according to Chaudhary Numan Majeed, president of the Pakistan Petroleum Dealers Association.

Majeed urged authorities to take immediate action to restore an uninterrupted fuel supply, warning that the situation could worsen if supply chains are not restored within 24 hours. He noted that stations with fuel remaining were limiting sales to prevent complete shutdowns.

The shortage has raised concerns among dealers and consumers, with Majeed stressing that without swift intervention, it will become increasingly difficult for fuel pumps to maintain operations.
