Television actress Jasmin Bhasin is currently facing significant health issues after injuring her corneas due to contact lenses worn for a recent event. The injury has left her unable to see, with her doctor advising complete rest and bandaging both her eyes.
Jasmin recounted that the trouble began on July 17, just as she put on the lenses before heading to an event in New Delhi. Despite the immediate discomfort, she chose to attend the event. However, the pain intensified to the point where she lost her vision, prompting her to wear sunglasses and rely on her team for assistance.
After the event, Jasmin sought medical help, and an eye specialist confirmed that her corneas had been damaged. She returned to Mumbai for further treatment. Jasmin described her experience as extremely painful and challenging, especially with difficulties in sleeping due to the discomfort. She expressed hope for a full recovery within the next four to five days, though the injury has temporarily impacted her ability to work.
Despite the setback, Jasmin has not had to delay any of her professional commitments. She is set to appear in the Punjabi film Ardaas Sarbat De Bhalle Di, which will release in September. This film marks her return to Punjabi cinema following her debut with Gippy Grewal in the 2022 comedy-drama Honeymoon.
