The Pakistan veterans’ team is gearing up to face India in the highly anticipated final of the World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2024 today.
India secured their spot in the final after a dominant performance, defeating Australia by 86 runs in the second semi-final at the County Ground in Northampton.
Earlier, Pakistan advanced to the final by overcoming the West Indies in a thrilling encounter, winning by 20 runs in the first semi-final. The West Indies, chasing a target of 199 runs, were restricted to 178 in their 20 overs.
Led by captain Younis Khan, who scored 65 runs, Pakistan set a challenging target of 198 runs. Aamer Yamin (37 off 17 balls) and Sohail Tanvir (33 off 17 balls) also contributed significantly to Pakistan’s total.
