Punjab government removes multiple law officers from their positions.

The Punjab government took action on Saturday, dismissing five additional advocate generals and 24 assistant advocate generals from their roles.

A notification was issued by the Punjab government to inform the Supreme Court, Lahore High Court, and other relevant institutions about the removal of these law officers.

The notification outlined the removal of Gulzar Ahmed Khan, Malik Sarwar Ahmed, Parvez Iqbal Cheema, Muhammad Nawaz Shah, and Arif Ranjha from their positions as additional advocate generals.

Furthermore, among the 24 individuals removed from their posts were assistant advocate generals such as Shahid Mehmood, Mohammad Akram, Syed Ali Riaz, Asad Abbas, and Zonaish Afzal.

Others affected by this decision included Aamir Umar, Hafeezur Rahman, Mirza Kamran Baig, Asif Butt, Umar Rashid, Khurram Shehzad, Noman Sarwar, Malik Abdul Razak, Naveed Ahmad Raja, Iftikhar Ibrahim, and Wajid Rizvi.

Additionally, Mushtaq Ahmed, Muhammad Saleem, Mehnaz Nadeem, Sajjad Iqbal, Tehreem Iqbal, Sheeba Qaiser, Azmat Ali Khanzada, and Irfan Arif Sheikh were among those relieved of their duties according to the notification.
