Rana Sanaullah Discusses Chief Justice’s Term Fixation Debate and Potential Cabinet Inclusion

In an interview with Geo News program Aaj with Shahzeb Khanzada, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah shed light on ongoing debates regarding the fixation of the Chief Justice’s term and potential cabinet inclusion.

Rana Sanaullah addressed the ongoing debate surrounding whether the demand to fix the term of the Chief Justice originated from the Bars. He emphasized that the demand emerged from the Bars, sparking a discussion on the matter.

Regarding the political landscape, Sanaullah highlighted that during the elections, PTI was not in contention, and independent candidates garnered votes. These independent candidates later aligned with a party that did not secure any seats.

Touching upon the possibility of joining the cabinet of the People’s Party, Sanaullah mentioned that some individuals withdrew from the race for the governorship of Punjab due to potential cabinet opportunities. He hinted at the prospect of political figures being offered positions in the cabinet.
