Pakistan and iran ink eight agreements to bolster bilateral collaboration.

Pakistan and Iran have inked a series of agreements and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) aimed at enhancing cooperation across a spectrum of sectors.

Among the agreements, emphasis was placed on bolstering security collaboration and facilitating judicial assistance in civil matters, alongside initiatives to strengthen veterinary and animal health sectors.

A notable MoU was sealed for the establishment of a dedicated special economic zone, underscoring the commitment of both nations to fostering economic ties. Additionally, another significant agreement focused on facilitating film exchanges and cooperation, fostering a closer relationship between the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of Pakistan and the Organization of Cinema and Audio-Visual Affairs of Iran.

Furthering the depth of engagement, the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Ministry of Cooperatives, Labour, and Social Welfare of Iran, along with the Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority and the National Standards Organization of Iran, signed MoUs to enhance collaboration in their respective domains.

In a bid to strengthen legal frameworks and cooperation, an additional MoU was signed, marking a milestone in legal collaboration between the two nations.

The signing ceremony was graced by the presence of the Iranian President alongside Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, highlighting the significance both nations attach to the agreements and their commitment to fostering enduring partnerships.
