PTI submits resolution in national assembly urging release of party founder and others.

On Tuesday, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) took a significant step by presenting a resolution in the National Assembly, seeking the release of PTI’s founder, along with other political leaders and imprisoned journalists. Former speaker Asad Qaiser, along with fellow leaders, submitted the resolution emphasizing the immediate release of PTI’s founder and others, calling for the withdrawal of ‘illegal’ cases lodged against them.

Within the resolution, the Tehreek-e-Insaf strongly asserted that the cases initiated on political grounds lacked legal merit. The PTI underscored the urgency of releasing its founder, other leaders, and imprisoned journalists, advocating for the swift dismissal of the contested cases. This move signifies the party’s commitment to addressing what they deem as unjust legal actions against their members.

Earlier, Asad Qaiser, a prominent leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), conveyed during a media interaction in Islamabad that a resolution would be presented to revoke cases against the PTI founder, reiterating the party’s stance on addressing perceived legal injustices.
