The Meteorological Department has forecasted light to moderate rainfall in Karachi from Friday morning to Saturday night.
According to meteorological analysts, areas in Karachi such as Malir, Airport, Gulshan-e-Hadeed, Steel Town, and Gadap are expected to experience drizzling rain.
However, due to the prediction of rainfall, the Pakistan Super League franchise Multan Sultans has canceled today’s training session. The Multan Sultans team had arrived in Karachi on Wednesday and did not practice on Thursday either.
According to a spokesperson for Multan Sultans, the team was scheduled to practice at the National Stadium in Karachi on Friday evening. However, now the team will conduct their training session on Saturday instead.
The decision to cancel the training session is likely a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of the players and to prevent any potential injuries that could occur due to wet playing conditions. Additionally, practicing in rainy weather may not provide the ideal preparation for the upcoming matches.
For Multan Sultans, adapting to the change in schedule and making the most out of the limited practice time available will be crucial as they aim to maintain their performance and competitiveness in the Pakistan Super League.
