PTI Nominates Speaker and Deputy Speaker Candidates for National Assembly

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has nominated Aamir Dogar for the position of Speaker and Javed Khan for the position of Deputy Speaker in the National Assembly.

Speaking to the media, PTI leader Umar Ayub expressed confidence in their candidates, stating that there was no rigging in the elections and that PTI’s seats were snatched through a pen movement. He announced that on March 2, protests would be held across Pakistan to challenge the mandate of the people, emphasizing that democracy had been undermined.

Umar Ayub further announced that Aamir Dogar has been nominated as the Speaker candidate while Javed Khan will be PTI’s candidate for Deputy Speaker. He also mentioned that PTI will send a letter to the IMF in accordance with their statement.

Sher Afzal Marwat, another PTI leader, stated that they would take the oath in the assembly on February 29. The founder of PTI has said that according to the PTI statement, a letter will be sent to the IMF.

It is important to note that the session of the National Assembly is scheduled for February 29, during which the newly elected members will take the oath.
