Regarding Nawaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan, Kakar clarified that Sharif had left the country based on a court verdict during Imran Khan’s tenure as the Prime Minister. He emphasized that Sharif would have to face legal questions upon his return, and these inquiries were legal obligations.

Moreover, the Cabinet also approved the appointment of a financial advisor to oversee the financial matters of PIA, aiming to bring about stability and efficiency within the national carrier. Additionally, the Cabinet reviewed the cases of two individuals, approving their transfer under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Interior.

Sharif reflected on the sacrifices made for state preservation, recalling the 16-month period during which his government worked diligently to safeguard the state. He underscored the importance of political sacrifices for the greater good, citing the challenging decisions made to secure the state, even if it meant compromising personal political interests.

Regarding the recent census conducted by Pakistan, he highlighted the importance of the ruling party’s role in decision-making. He criticized the former chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), referring to him as a puppet selling out the nation’s interests, who had now been apprehended.

Justice Isa emphasized that while the Constitution vested the Supreme Court with the authority to formulate its rules, it was imperative to ensure that such regulations did not transgress the bounds set by the law. The justices acknowledged the delicate balance between upholding the Constitution’s integrity and respecting the roles designated to each branch of the government.

When asked about the formation of a new political party, Abbasi mentioned that the idea exists, but it is a matter for the future. He stressed that while the concept of a new political entity is on the table, it is not an immediate concern.
