In another significant development, the Election Tribunal approved the appeal of former Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid. Her nomination papers were initially rejected by the Returning Officer from NA-130, declaring the decision as void ab initio. The Election Tribunal overruled the decision of the Returning Officer, allowing Yasmin Rashid to contest the upcoming elections.

Rana Sanaullah outlined that the leadership of the election campaign would be spearheaded by Nawaz Sharif, the former Prime Minister, and key figures like Maryam Nawaz and Shehbaz Sharif. The party aims to conduct around 60 rallies throughout the country, with Maryam Nawaz and Shehbaz Sharif initiating the campaign from January 15th.
