These appointed presiding officers will oversee the nomination process of presidential candidates and supervise the polling process in the parliament and provincial assemblies for the presidential elections. The rejected requests pertain to NA-237, NA-239, and NA-241 constituencies. In NA-237, the candidate Zahooruddin, in NA-239, Muhammad Yasser, and in NA-241, the candidate from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Khurram Sher Zaman, had filed these appeals.

Jahangir Jadoon revealed that according to the RO’s report, Nawaz Sharif received over 82,000 votes, while the opposing candidate received more than 105,000 votes, with 9,820 rejected votes. However, results from 123 polling stations were missing, and they did not receive Form 45 from 45 presiding officers.
