The Practice and Procedure case revolves around crucial aspects of how cases are processed and handled within the judiciary. It pertains to the procedural rules, guidelines, and protocols that govern the court’s functioning, including the scheduling of hearings, the submission of evidence, and the dispensation of justice.

Out of the 26 references, 54 cases are still undergoing a detailed investigation before being presented to the relevant courts. The NAB’s actions come in response to the Supreme Court’s directives to expedite the accountability process and bring those involved in corruption to justice.

Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa, along with Justices Aminuddin Khan and Athar Minallah, will form a three-member bench to hear the case on Thursday, September 28, 2023. The case, which spans 43 pages, was originally decided by a two-member bench, headed by Justice Qazi Faez Isa, and the verdict was upheld after a comprehensive review of evidence on November 22.

Justice Isa highlighted that student unions should be non-sectarian and promote unity among students while refraining from any divisive ideologies or activities. He stressed the importance of keeping the university free from arms and narcotics, urging a commitment to uphold academic and ethical standards.
