In a session presided over by Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa, the Supreme Court of Pakistan adjourned the hearing on the dismissal case of former Islamabad High Court judge Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui to Friday. The court granted a day’s time for the inclusion of former DG of ISI Faiz Hameed and others as parties to the case. Chief Justice Isa emphasized the democratic nature of the court and the country’s trajectory towards democracy. The larger bench, including Justices Aminuddin, Jamal Mandokhel, Hassan Azhar Rizvi, and Irfan Saadat Khan, oversaw the live telecast of the proceedings.
