In response to Imran Khan’s recent controversial remarks about Benazir Bhutto’s appearance before her marriage, Awan Chaudhry, a leader of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), has strongly criticized Imran Khan, calling his statements the biggest lie of the century.
Imran Khan had stated that he only saw Benazir Bhutto’s face on the day of their marriage, implying that he adhered strictly to Islamic principles. Awan Chaudhry, while speaking to Geo News, vehemently refuted these claims, asserting that Imran Khan met Benazir Bhutto not just once but numerous times before their marriage. He accused Imran Khan of shamelessly lying about a matter that holds significant cultural and religious sensitivity.
Chaudhry further highlighted that Benazir Bhutto and Imran Khan had met on multiple occasions, spending hours in meetings. He challenged Imran Khan’s narrative, emphasizing that the allegations against Benazir Bhutto were entirely baseless. Awan Chaudhry argued that Imran Khan’s claim of not seeing Benazir Bhutto’s face before marriage was the biggest lie of the century.
In a bold statement, Awan Chaudhry mentioned that if Imran Khan opens the Pandora’s box, he will find himself in a position where the world will see the real Imran Khan. He suggested that if the former PTI chairman continues down this path, the world may witness shocking revelations about Imran Khan’s own past.
Awan Chaudhry also clarified that he consistently facilitated meetings between Benazir Bhutto and Imran Khan during their political engagements. He revealed that Imran Khan’s allegations were not only false but also disrespectful to the memory of Benazir Bhutto.
Regarding Imran Khan’s recent political moves, Awan Chaudhry stated that the PTI founder’s lies are deeply embedded in his politics. He expressed gratitude that Imran Khan’s political tenure was cut short, and the nomination of Barrister Gohar Ali as the new chairman of the PTI indicates the party’s unwillingness to give any responsible position to someone with a tainted history.
Awan Chaudhry maintained that raising a voice against spreading lies and corruption is synonymous with loyalty to the country. His response reflects the intense political rivalry in Pakistan, with leaders engaging in verbal battles as they seek to gain an upper hand in the eyes of the public.
