In Peshawar, Pakistani police have reported the arrest of two Afghan nationals following a shootout. According to law enforcement officials, these individuals are suspected of being involved in serious crimes, including kidnapping, looting, snatching, robbery, and instilling fear in the local population.
The police had set up barricades on a road as a response to the escalating crime in the area, and they were conducting checks on motorists. During this operation, they signaled a motorcycle carrying two individuals they found suspicious. However, instead of stopping, the suspects opened fire on the police officers.
The police responded swiftly and effectively, injuring both outlaws, who were subsequently apprehended. The arrested individuals have been identified as Ameer Khan, also known as Mahir, and Ibrar, also known as Baidarak. During the arrest, a motorcycle, mobile phones, cash, and two pistols with ammunition were confiscated. It was later discovered that the outlaws had stolen the motorcycle from the Campus Police area.
