“The Legend of Maula Jatt,” directed by Bilal Lashari, has secured a nomination for a Golden Globe in the category of Best Fight. While achieving the distinction of becoming the highest-grossing Pakistani film was undoubtedly a remarkable feat, the accolades continue to pour in. The gripping final battle scene between Maula and Noori, portrayed by Fawad Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi, has earned the movie a coveted spot on the nomination list.
This local nominee will be up against fierce competition from films like “Everything Everywhere All at Once” and “The Grey,” known for their meticulously choreographed stunts by the renowned expert Ian Van Temperley.
