Rapper 50 Cent has fired back with a sarcastic response to claims that music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs was allegedly attacked in prison.
According to Diddy’s associate Charlucci Finney, the Bad Boy founder “woke up with a knife to his throat” during a violent incident behind bars — a situation Finney described as nearly fatal.
“He woke up with a knife to his throat,” Finney told the Daily Mail. “I don’t know whether he fought him off or the guards came; I just know that it happened.”
He added that the act appeared to be a form of intimidation rather than an attempted murder.
“If this guy had wanted to harm him, Sean would have been harmed. It was probably a way to say: ‘Next time you ain’t gonna be so lucky.’ But with Sean, it won’t work. Sean is from Harlem.”
As the story gained traction online, 50 Cent (real name Curtis Jackson) wasted no time reacting. Sharing a screenshot of the report on Instagram, he quipped:
“Is he snitching now? They put a knife to his neck and said South Side we outside. LOL.”
Although the post was later deleted, it quickly circulated across social media platforms, sparking fan reactions and reigniting the long-running feud between the two hip-hop figures.
This isn’t the first time 50 Cent has taken aim at Diddy publicly. Earlier this month, he mocked reports that Donald Trump had claimed Diddy requested a presidential pardon, writing:
“Man, you can’t get no pardon running ya mouth like that. LOL get out of here.”
The latest exchange adds another chapter to the pair’s decades-long rivalry, which continues to play out both in the media and online.
