Dreyer’s winner lifts San Diego FC past LAFC, extends unbeaten run.

LOS ANGELES: San Diego FC stretched their unbeaten streak to six MLS matches after a 2-1 victory over Los Angeles FC, thanks to a decisive strike from Dreyer in the 66th minute.

Denis Bouanga had given the hosts an early lead, opening the scoring in the first half, before Lozano equalized in the 33rd minute with his ninth goal of the season.

Despite LAFC dominating long stretches of play, San Diego’s goalkeeper CJ Dos Santos stood firm with three crucial saves, including a last-minute diving stop against Son, who was making his much-anticipated Los Angeles debut.

Son came close multiple times—striking the post in the 78th minute, forcing a spectacular leaping save in the 45th, and missing a one-on-one chance in the 74th following a long pass from Hugo Lloris. Bouanga also squandered a late opportunity in the 82nd minute.

In the end, Dreyer’s brilliant solo effort in the second half proved the difference, sealing a statement win for San Diego FC on the road.
