Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique has announced the establishment of a modern laboratory at Punjab Dental Hospital, aimed at enhancing diagnostic and treatment facilities for patients.
The announcement came during the 31st Board of Management meeting at De Montmorency College of Dentistry on Thursday. The board also formally approved the creation of a new anesthesia department at the college.
Speaking at the event, the minister said the initiative aligns with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s vision to upgrade healthcare services in the province. He stressed that improving patient care and addressing staff shortages remain key priorities for the government.
Rafique assured attendees that the shortage of doctors at the college will be resolved on a priority basis to maintain seamless healthcare services for patients.
