Apple is reportedly working on a new AirPods feature that will enable live translation of conversations into different languages, according to Bloomberg News. The feature is expected to be part of a software upgrade later this year, aligning with the iOS 19 update.
This move comes as Apple seeks to enhance AirPods’ functionality, bringing it in line with rivals like Google’s Pixel Buds, which have offered translation features for years. Last year, Apple introduced a software update that allowed AirPods Pro 2 to function as a personalized hearing aid.
Additionally, Apple is planning a significant revamp of its software, including a redesigned interface for iPhones, iPads, and Macs, as part of its upcoming updates.
