Babar Ali on showbiz decline: “unfair to blame one person”.

Veteran Pakistani film star Babar Ali believes it is unjust to hold any single individual responsible for the decline of the country’s showbiz industry.

Speaking in a recent podcast, Babar discussed various aspects of his personal and professional life. He also praised both emerging and senior actors, acknowledging their commendable contributions to the industry.

When asked about actor Saud’s remarks—where he blamed Shaan and Syed Noor for Lollywood’s downfall—Babar responded diplomatically. “Everyone has their own opinions, but I wouldn’t blame any particular person or group,” he stated.

Additionally, he dismissed the notion that the prominence of “Gujjar culture” in films—marked by numerous movies featuring “Gujjar” in their titles—was responsible for the industry’s decline.
