Payment issues surface again in Bangladesh premier league season 11.

The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Season 11 has hit a familiar hurdle as players face delays in receiving their initial payments. Durbar Rajshahi’s captain, Anamul Haque Bijoy, confirmed that the team’s players have not yet received the first installment of their compensation for the ongoing tournament.

According to BPL regulations, franchises are required to disburse 50% of the players’ fees before the tournament begins, 25% during the event, and the remaining 25% after its conclusion. However, the recurring issue of payment delays has once again come to light.

In the previous BPL season, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) had to intervene to settle outstanding dues for two franchises. Speaking after Rajshahi’s loss to Barishal in their opening match, Anamul stated, “We haven’t received any payment yet. However, since the tournament has just started, we don’t want to raise questions and create complications at this point.”

The ongoing payment concerns could cast a shadow over the tournament if left unresolved, as players and franchises alike call for better financial management in the league.
