Khyber Pakhtunkhwa adviser barrister Ali Saif announces disarmament of Kurram for sustainable peace.

Barrister Ali Saif, the Information Adviser for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has announced plans to disarm the Kurram district, aligning with the Apex Committee’s decision to ensure long-term peace in the region.

In his statement, Barrister Saif highlighted that bunkers in Kurram would also be demolished as part of the efforts to restore harmony. Acknowledging the challenges faced by the public due to road closures, he assured that normalcy would return once the peace agreement was fully implemented.

He stated that roads would be completely reopened following the removal of bunkers and the collection of weapons.

Reaffirming the government’s commitment to maintaining peace, Barrister Saif criticized elements opposing stability and urged citizens not to be influenced by baseless propaganda circulating on social media. He emphasized the sincerity of the provincial government’s efforts and called on the public to support initiatives aimed at securing lasting peace in Kurram.
