The recent three-day protest by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Islamabad resulted in expenses surpassing Rs330 million, as reported by sources.

Organized under the premise of addressing security concerns, the protests demanded substantial financial resources from the Islamabad Police. Key expenditures included the deployment of over 800 containers to block critical areas, incurring a cost of Rs72.8 million.

Additionally, the police procured 35,000 tear gas shells, many of which were used during the demonstrations, amounting to Rs150 million. The use of 2,500 rubber bullet guns and related ammunition further added Rs110 million to the overall expenses.
