The Arts Council of Pakistan (ACP) hosted the ‘Mega Music Concert 4.0’ as part of the ongoing World Culture Festival, now in its 24th day. The concert featured a diverse lineup of performers, captivating music lovers in Karachi. Among the highlights were performances by the South Korean group Good Fellis, the SOVAPA Academic Ensemble, Hamza Akram Qawwal, Natasha Baig, Wahab Bugti, Sultan Baloch, Noman Al Shaikh, JAMBROZ Band, and Rhythmic Reverie.
The South Korean group’s unique and engaging performance was particularly well-received, leaving the audience mesmerized. South Korean Consul General Yi Sungho expressed his pride in the group’s participation in Pakistan, noting that it was a significant moment for cultural exchange between the two nations. He praised the Arts Council for hosting the festival, which spans over a month and promotes cultural diversity.
ACP President Muhammad Ahmed Shah highlighted the peaceful nature of South Korea and emphasized how the group’s performance in Pakistan brought honor to both countries. Other notable performances included a qawwali by Hamza Akram Qawwal that had the crowd swaying, as well as soulful renditions by Wahab Bugti and Natasha Baig. The SOVAPA Academic Ensemble paid tribute to Pakistani music directors with their compositions.
