WhatsApp has rolled out a new feature that allows users to mention others in their stories or status updates. Users can now tag close friends in their stories, and the tagged person will have the option to re-share the story.
Additionally, WhatsApp has introduced a like feature for stories and statuses, similar to how users can like posts on Facebook. Previously, users could only see the number of views on a story, but now they can also express their reactions through likes.
Importantly, likes and reactions to stories will remain private, visible only to the person who shared the story. Whenever a user is mentioned in a story or status, they will receive a notification and have the option to re-share the content.
