The Pakistan Foreign Office has strongly condemned the recent attack on Chinese nationals, vowing to work closely with China until terrorism is completely eradicated.
Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch stressed the need for strict action against the terrorists and their facilitators, assuring that “this barbaric act will not go unpunished.” She further condemned the attack as a direct assault on the enduring friendship between Pakistan and China.
Baloch expressed her condolences to the families of the victims, confirming that two Chinese engineers were killed in the attack at Karachi Airport, with another Chinese national also losing their life. She reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of both Pakistani and Chinese citizens.
The Foreign Office is actively coordinating with the Chinese Embassy in the aftermath of the incident, ensuring full cooperation. The banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for the attack through a statement on social media.
