Senior Awami National Party (ANP) leader Senator Zahid Khan has announced his retirement from politics.
Zahid Khan stated that he had pursued politics with a specific ideology and philosophy. However, he lamented that there was no longer room for such ideals in the current political landscape of the country.
“I made significant sacrifices in politics, but given the present circumstances, I can no longer continue,” the ANP leader expressed.
He added that he would decide on his future path after consulting with the people of his constituency.
