Individual Arrested with Heroin at Multan Airport While Traveling to Doha

A passenger heading to Doha was apprehended at Multan International Airport on Sunday morning when over one kilogram of heroin was discovered in his possession.

The Airport Security Force (ASF) uncovered 1.170 kilograms of heroin concealed in hidden compartments within the passenger’s bag, identified as Muhammad Abrar.

Muhammad Abrar, reportedly a resident of Sheikhupura, was taken into custody.

In a previous incident, the Airport Security Force (ASF) successfully thwarted a drug smuggling attempt by apprehending an individual carrying a 1.5-kilogram parcel of heroin on a flight to Bahrain.

The passenger, who was boarding a private flight bound for Bahrain, had concealed the narcotics in his bag, according to the ASF spokesperson. The estimated value of the confiscated drugs is approximately Rs150 million.
