In a recent development, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has closed its Central Secretariat in Islamabad. On Tuesday, party workers and leaders protested against the distribution of tickets at the secretariat. Following the demonstration, PTI spokesperson Rauf Hassan confirmed the closure of the Central Secretariat.
Hassan stated that currently, political activities at the secretariat have been halted. He mentioned concerns about the presence of some troublemakers during the protest, raising fears of potential security threats near the secretariat.
The decision to close the Central Secretariat comes in the wake of internal unrest within PTI, specifically related to ticket distribution, leading to disruptions in political engagements at the key party facility.
