Little did anyone know that the following week would mark a significant milestone in his life. As the former Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azam Khan led a life characterized by honest service and a steadfast commitment to his principles, both as a bureaucrat and later as a politician.

Azam Khan breathed his last on a Saturday morning at 9 a.m. His funeral prayers were held at a local mosque in Prang, his ancestral village, and he was laid to rest in the family graveyard. The emotional send-off was attended by numerous individuals who came to pay their respects and express their gratitude for his unwavering support.
