Aliza Sehar, a well-known TikToker celebrated for sharing videos showcasing rural life in Pakistan, found herself embroiled in controversy when a private video call was leaked on social media.
Aliza’s content typically portrays her engaging in everyday tasks on her family’s farm, such as baking bread in an outdoor clay oven, cooking over an open fire, and tending to livestock. Her videos resonated with many online viewers due to their simplicity and authenticity.
The leaked video quickly went viral, leading to Aliza’s name trending across various social media platforms. Initially, Aliza refrained from making a public statement. However, a few days later, she addressed the situation through a video on her popular TikTok account.
In the video, Aliza revealed that she became aware of the leak three days prior and subsequently visited the Federal Investigation Agency’s Cybercrime office in Multan to file a report. She expressed gratitude for the cooperation she received from investigators.
Aliza disclosed that the person responsible for the leak resides in Okara but is currently living in Qatar. When contacted, the individual admitted to editing the video but denied sharing it online.
However, Aliza expressed her frustration that, while the FIA supported her, they did not take action against the person who leaked the private conversation. She cautioned individuals spreading rumors about her on social media to cease their actions, or she would reveal their identities in an upcoming video.
Following the leak, unverified rumors circulated online, falsely claiming that Aliza had died by suicide. In response, her recent video and statements from her brother clarified that these reports were untrue.
