In the interbank trading market, the US dollar continued its winning streak, gaining 11 paisas against the Pakistani rupee, reaching a rate of Rs280.20 on Friday.
The previous day, the American currency had seen a significant increase of 37 paisas against the Pakistani Rupee in the interbank market, commencing trading at Rs280.25. However, in the open market, the greenback remained stable at Rs282.
Just the day before, on Wednesday, the US dollar had closed the trading session at Rs279.88 in the interbank market.
In contrast to the currency exchange, the KSE-100 index saw a rise of 42 points, reaching 51,226 in the Friday morning trading session, indicating potential positive trends in the stock market.
